Friday, December 16th—-POETRY/LA POESIA
For the past several weeks, ESL/Bilingual 3rd graders have embarked upon our Journey into poetry. Ms. Nilson and myself have been working together to teach different types of poems and how to write them. The students have been writing some amazing stuff! Just a note, there is so much great poetry written all over the world. Please feel free to share poems and rhymes with them from your culture over the break, even if it’s in you native language!
