Due Monday, September 19th, 2011: 1) List 2 talking points for the article, “The Deep Divide”. 2) Printed copies of your PowerPoint presentation on “Hills Like White Elephants” are due. 3) Review writing notes from Friday and be prepared to work on the narrative prompt.
Due Monday 9-12-11: 1) Extended Response final write up from “Family Matters” 2) Hemingway Biographical research: using the video and handout, find one aspect from Hemingway’s life that you want to research. Bring findings in written form to class. 3) Review notes on Hemingway in preparation for the story. 4) Have current event article from Friday (topic: education) ready to turn in.

Prompt: Students will begin to draft out their introduction to this month’s narrative prompt. Often we are faced with tasks that seem impossible.
