Ms. Enders - ESL Teacher/Interventionist

About Ms. Enders

Ms. Kristen Enders is a Chicago native and alumni of the Chicago Public Schools. She graduated with honors from DePaul University in 2004, earning her Bachelors in Elementary Education. Ms. Enders is also a Golden Apple Scholar and holds a national teaching certificate in Reading & Language Arts that spans ages 3-12. In 2012, she graduated from National-Louis University with a Masters in Curriculum & Instruction and an endorsement for teaching English as a second language.

This school year is Ms. Enders' 6th year teaching at Hamilton. This year, she serves as Hamilton's bilingual coordinator/ESL teacher, pushing into classrooms to support students' English language development. In addition, she is Hamilton's interventionist, working with small-groups of students to provide intensive research-based supports.

When Ms. Enders isn't teaching or working for school, she enjoys reading, baking, yoga, listening to music, taking Zumba classes, and spending time with friends and family. She is looking forward to another amazing year at Hamilton.
