Erin Antonyzyn ~ Middle School Science & Social Studies Inclusion

"If a child can't learn the way we teach, maybe we should teach the way they learn."  -- Ignacio Estrada

Erin Antonyzyn fell in love with teaching diverse learners quite by accident.  Having received her undergraduate degree in Theatre from Illinois State University, she needed a day job to accommodate her performance schedule at night.  When she took a job as a teaching assistant at a therapeutic day school, she immediately knew she had found her true calling.  She went back to school and graduated from Northeastern Illinois University with her Master's degree in Special Education, and has enjoyed teaching students in the way that they learn ever since.

Outside of school, Mrs. Antonyzyn loves to stay busy by eating at good restaurants, working out, reading, going to concerts and theatre, and hanging out with her friends and family.  She is thrilled to bring her love of the performing arts to Hamilton this year with the new Hamilton Speech and Drama Club.  Be on the lookout for more information to come!
